Welcome

Week 8/52: Live to Dream

Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined.

Henry David

Posting this photo hoping it will brighten my day... My Ate L who is living her life to the fullest --- simply learning whatever she wants to achieve in life... learn to roller skates in two days time.
{not liking the yellowish tint on the first photo brought by my mini indoor studio lighting --- gotta work on this *frustrated* ... natural lighting is way better}

Attempted this shot with Little M to manually change the white balance, somewhat better i guess --- so i therefore conclude it is in my mini studio lighting that i have to adjust the temperature in my camera, of course duh... will do that on my next day off to play around more, *grin* {this is me talking to myself again}

I've been stuck the past couple of days, feeling stuffy, coughing, and feeling out of balance from the colds i have contracted from my Little M... Hopeful the medicine will start to take it's course.

Week 7/52: Never Too Late

"It takes courage to grow up and turn out to be who you really are."

E.E. Cummings

Finally registered for a photography workshop --- my first *heart pounding*... {one of my wish list this year - ticked off}

Mostly everyone who knew me are aware that I am a self-taught hobbyist/photographer. I've learn techniques from reading books, internet surfing, and gazillion of practices and applications. So, when this chance knocked on my door i decided to grab it --- my schedule is free, i am off work, the location of the workshop is just 6 minutes out from where i live... i think it is kind of meant for me, what do you think? *grin*.

I am pretty excited yet nervous... i signed up for intermediate to advance photography workshop {i hope these won't be way too advance for my limited knowledge}. What i like with the curriculum is it includes a live shooting --- yes, live models. Other than that it also includes advance editing techniques, which i believe i needed it badly.

I am so looking forward, *smiling from ear to ear*.

{Oh and Hub is going for the beginners class too... isn't that exciting}

Photos above are Ate L's new pet fishes, she got it from her birthday this weekend --- her one long wish since last year is ticked off as well.

Week 6/52: Wacky Fun

Tomorrow's another day. The sun will shine, and everything will be okay.

It's been a wild roller coaster ride this week in my end ...
Started off with sleepless work nights to an inspiring conference, proceeded to an emotional draining outburst that turn out to be a learning experience and a reminder to be extremely proactive especially if you work in a field that involves saving lives --- next day received personal letter/card/email from (1) CEO herself ... handwritten (2) in-patient educator (3) co-worker saying how grateful they were for making and creating wonderful memories of my patients and to the work place... that put a smile in face. Now moving along with getting the weekend ready for my Ate L's birthday shindig... and still in the process of working on it.

Truly an amazing week... and sincerely grateful --- very hopeful i can finish and hold up this week with a big bang though, *crossing finger*.

Have a great week everyone!!!

Week 5/52: Sharing

Working towards success will make you a master, but working towards satisfaction makes you a legend.
